The SRM X-Power Direct Road Pedal is engineered to deliver a highly efficient connection between rider and drivetrain. With a reduced pedal stack height of 8.7 mm for the pedal alone and 9.7 mm when combined with the cleat. This design places the rider’s foot closer to the pedal axle, creating a more direct pedalling action and improving aerodynamics and control, especially when using shorter crank lengths.

SRM X-Power's Increased Contact Surface

The pedal offers a contact surface area of 1653 mm², significantly larger than traditional systems. This wider platform increases stability and enhances power transfer. The cleat’s positive engagement mechanism is positioned behind the primary contact point, allowing the reduction of 6 mm in stack height compared to market-leading systems.

SRM Premium Construction

Constructed from cast-dyed aluminium with a hardened steel spindle, the pedal provides long-term reliability. High-durability bearings and seals are integrated to withstand weather and load stresses. Weighing 254 g per pair without cleats, the system provides a Q-factor of 54 mm and aligns with the natural curvature of standard road shoe soles.
