Cervelo P5 Frameset

The Cervelo P5 Frameset is engineered for speed and adaptability, designed to be even faster with the latest wheels and cutting-edge fit adjustments. It accommodates 34 mm tyres on wide wheels to enhance aerodynamics and reduce rolling resistance. The lower basebar reduces CdA, while increased stack height and adjustable extensions (0 to 30 degrees in 5 mm increments) allow for a highly customised fit. For triathletes, integrated storage solutions ensure easy access to essential nutrition. A new size 61 option also provides a better fit for taller riders.

Simplicity & Adjustability

The new one-piece front end, first introduced on the S5, is designed for simplicity and adjustability. It is easier to assemble and fine-tune, with stack adjustability up to 40 mm and a 10 mm lower basebar height to reduce frontal area. The updated riser increases tilt adjustability from 0 to 30 degrees in 5-degree increments, allowing for a more personalised fit.

Comfort & Control

The armrests and pads on the P5 are wider, taller, and thicker than before, offering enhanced comfort and increased confidence. The larger surface area improves control, allowing riders to maintain an aerodynamic position for longer periods.

Compliance

The new fastback seat stay design reduces vertical stiffness by approximately 22% while preserving the lateral stiffness essential for efficient power transfer. With the demands of the time trial position, this improvement enhances comfort, helping riders arrive at T2 feeling fresher.

Speed

The P5 frame is approximately one watt faster aerodynamically than its predecessor and offers clearance for 34 mm tyres.
