What it is
The Shimano EW-SD50 Di2 Electric Wire is the original-generation Di2 cable for Shimano's R8050 (Ultegra Di2 11-speed), R9150 (Dura-Ace Di2 11-speed) and earlier Di2 groupsets. For current R8150 (Ultegra Di2 12-speed) and R9250 (Dura-Ace Di2 12-speed) systems, the EW-SD300 cable is required - the connector format changed between generations and EW-SD50 / EW-SD300 cables are not interchangeable.
