The lightest 11-speed Dyna-Sys MTB cassette on the market, the Shimano CS-M9000 XTR 11-Speed Cassette uses 4 carbon fibre carriers, which improve stiffness and reduce weight. These carriers also enhance shift performance, especially when under load, when paired to the Hyperglide sprockets. The sprockets have a carefully designed layout and contoured shift gates, allowing for high performance shifting.
Ideal for climbing and descending, the wide 11-40 tooth ratio means you will never run out of gears.
Further reducing weight, the sprockets have been extensively cut away and drilled. Specific sprockets are made from strong and lightweight titanium and are nickel plated to reduce corrosion and improve durability.
Designed to be used with Shimano 11-speed SIL-TEC chains.
